DAY ONE
| Day One: MASSIVE accident on I-5 caused two hour delay in travel time. Barely made it to the first panel MAKING INDIE COMICS (hosted by the Antidote Trust). It was AWESOME. Full house, friendly interactions, great questions, lots of merch passed around. Get on the Trust train now, folks. This the the jump off. Turns out Geoff actually can moderate. There were pics taken and film shot so, as soon as we get some, we'll post 'em here. We haven't seen any of our die-hard supporters yet but it's Friday and it looks like everybody in the world is here so we're assuming our folks are too. The ASHCAN is getting great feedback from pros and fans alike. This year, appropriately TODD was the big focus instead of the Geoff the crazy Yeti. let this be a lesson. Just being AWESOME at your job DOES open doors. Believe it Geoff signed stacks of copies of STAR TREK: TITAN: SWORD OF DAMOCLES and was honestly quite humbled by the great fans of the Trek-verse that were out there. Plus, the AWESOME Andy Mangels was there and helped him immensely through the first ever book signing. So far, so awesome, folks. More as it continues. |
